2D simulations from Case Study I

These simulations are analyzed in the Case Study I: steady state activity and structure of a biofilm presented in the paper. Simulations were carried out with the same parameters with the exception of the kdet value.

2D simulations simulations from Case Study II

These simulations are analyzed in the Case II: Influence of detachment in biofilm density presented in the paper. In that case study, the biomass is represented according to 3 components: heterotrophic active mass, extracellular polymeric substances (EPS) and inert material. Simulations were carried out with the same parameters, with the exception of the bulk concetration of substrate (CSbulk), which was changed.
